PLEA DEAL FOR CHRIS BROWN?

The Chris Brown assault case could be over soon, according to MediaTakeOut-dot-com.

An insider says Rihanna has agreed to "speak to the [prosecutors] on Chris's behalf. Rihanna doesn't want this to go any further. She will be speaking to [prosecutors] and -- if need be -- admit to her part in the [incident]."

And prosecutors are supposedly close to a plea deal. Brown would reportedly plead no contest to misdemeanor domestic battery in return for no jail time.

JACKO'S SONGS FOR THE AFTERLIFE

Michael Jackson has recorded more than 100 songs that are to be heard only by his three children. But there's a catch -- the kids won't get their hands on the exclusive tunes until Wacko Jacko is dead.

Ian Halperin, the author of an upcoming Jackson biography, says the songs were written specifically for Prince, Paris Katherine and Prince Michael the Second. According to Britain's Daily Express, Halperin says, "I was astonished by the number of songs which have been held back. I was told that he will not let them come out now but wants to leave them for his kids, a very personal legacy to them."

Meanwhile, in the land of the living, a rep says Michael is preparing a "world tour and a series of specials and appearances."

JEN TALKS PITT AGAIN
Jennifer Aniston is blabbing about Brad Pitt again, but this time she sets the record straight on their 2005 divorce.

In an interview with Elle U-K, Jen says, "No matter what I say, things will always be taken out of context and misinterpreted, will always be turned around to make it seem as though I won't let something go, or that I just keep talking about it over and over."

So, she continues to talk about it by saying, "I don't owe anybody anything. I don't owe anybody my side of the story. There are no sides! There is no bad guy and there is no good guy. There are no villains and there is no heroine in this story. It's just not the case."

And we're sure this is the last we'll ever hear about this.

TOM GETS SHIRTED

Tom Cruise is siccing his lawyers on a clothing company that allegedly plans to use his image on racy T-shirts.

Cruise legal eagle Aaron Moss has threatened to sue the pants off AddictionTee-dot-com if they go ahead with the shirts, which supposedly feature the slogans "Sex Addict" on the front and "Everything Turns Me On" on the back.

A spokesman for the company tells T-M-Z that the tees are already in production and that "we're going into production of a T-shirt inspired by Cruise's attorney with the words 'Legal Addict' on the front and 'I Sue Everybody' on the back."

RACHAEL RAY MIGHT GET SEXY AGAIN

Rachael Ray doesn't regret doing that sexy photo shoot for F-H-M in 2003.

In an interview that aired yesterday, she told A-B-C's Nightline, "I think I was 35 at the time. And I thought about it for a while, and I said, 'You know what? This magazine has as young as 17-, 18-year-olds in hottie bikinis, and these are all actresses, models, pin-up girls. I don't belong to any even remote club of theirs.'"

And she threatens, "I'd do it again tomorrow."

Let's not go there. Isn't it Giada De Laurentiis's turn to strip down?

PLACE YOUR BETS FOR DWTS CHAMP

If you're the betting kind, put your money on Olympic gold medal gymnast Shawn Johnson to win the new season of Dancing With the Stars. She's the odds-on favorite, according to Sportsbook-dot-com -- which also ranks actor Gilles Marini, R-and-B star Lil' Kim and country singer Chuck Wicks as the top contenders.

Apple computer's Steve Wozniak and reality star Steve-O stand the least chance of winning with 25-to-one odds.

But they stand the best chance of making fools of themselves.

DWTS WINNER ON TRIAL

Meanwhile, a former Dancing With the Stars champ might be shuffling off to jail.

Race car driver Helio Castovenes's tax-evasion trial started yesterday in Miami with the selection of a jury. Opening statements in the case are scheduled to begin today.

Helio, who won the A-B-C dancing competition in 2007, is accused of hiding about five-point-five-million dollars in income from the I-R-S using offshore accounts. If convicted, he could get up to six years in prison.

SHARON'S CHARM SCHOOL LAW SUIT

Megan Hauserman, the star of Rock of Love Charm School, is suing Sharon Osbourne for battery and negligence.

The suit stems from a December incident at the taping of the show's reunion special, where Hauserman insulted Sharon's husband Ozzy and their kids before Sharon, acting as if she was clearing her throat, grabbed a glass of water and splattered Hauserman. Sharon allegedly pulled Hauserman's hair in the ensuing dust-up.

Although she wants medical and legal fees, the big-haired Hauserman lawyers haven't thought added in sylist and extension fees...yet.

GARY COLLINS CONVICTED

Former T-V host Gary Collins pled no contest in his D-U-I case yesterday and has been sentenced to 120 days in jail.

He was busted for driving a motor home drunk in Santa Monica, California in January. This is his third D-U-I conviction.

Gary can stay out of jail by applying for house detention with electronic monitoring. If he doesn't qualify, he must report to jail by June 2nd.
